Should You Be Eaten by Tal Ratha in Remnant 2?

Should You Be Eaten by Tal Ratha in Remnant 2?

When you start N’Erud, and if you are playing the Soul Sparks storyline, a mysterious voice will assign you the task of finding a particular item, the Soul Spark Cylinder.

Once you locate this Quest Item and interact with the voice again in the Forgotten Prison, it will reveal itself as Tal Ratha.

Following a cutscene and a conversation with Tal Ratha, you will face a decision. Tal Ratha will ask you to let him eat you, and your choice will lead to different consequences.

In this guide, we will discuss the outcomes of both choices.

If you choose to let Tal Ratha eat you, you will have to fight Tal Ratha (Metaphysical).

After you allow Tal Ratha to eat you, he will do just that – eat you.

You’ll then be swallowed and transported to a different location. There, you will have to defeat a peculiar version of him known as Tal Ratha (Metaphysical).

This version of Tal Ratha is quite challenging due to his teleportation abilities. This makes him difficult to predict its moves.

Tip: Aim for Tal Ratha (Metaphysical)’s head, as this is his weak spot.

After you successfully defeat this version of him, your reward will be the Acidic Jawbone. This item can be used to craft the Gas Giant melee weapon at McCabe’s workshop.

What Happens if You Kill Tal Ratha?

If you refuse to let Tal Ratha eat you, he will immediately engage with you in a boss fight.

While this standard version of Tal Ratha is less challenging than the previous one, don’t let your guard down.

Tip: Air for Tal Ratha mouth as this is his weak spot.

After you successfully defeat Tal Ratha, your reward will be the Spiced Bile. This material can be used to craft the Nebula handgun at McCabe’s workshop.
