How to Get To Crumbling Farum Azula in Elden Ring

The Crumbling Farum Azula is one of the most iconic locations in Elden Ring.

Crumbling Farum Azula is not accessible until you reach a major event in the story of Elden Ring.

However, you can access a small chunk of this area early in the game by using one of the portals in the Four Belfries.

You will teleport to the Crumbling Farum Azula after committing the Cardinal Sin, and this is necessary to finish the game.

The Crumbling Farum Azula can be reached via two routes: the Four Belfries or the Mountaintops of Giants.

The Four Belfries

The portals in the Four Belfries require you to locate an Imbued Sword Key.

The quickest way to find one is in the Four Belfries area itself, in a chest near the Site of Grace.

Once you acquire the Imbued Sword Key, activate the lowest portal that says “Crumbling Lands”.

The portal will take you to a small separated section of the Crumbling Farum Azula

This only gives you access to a small separated section of the Crumbling Farum Azula.

The main reason for using this portal is that it is the only way to obtain Pearldrake Talisman.

However, you cannot access the rest of the map and can only fast travel back from it.

The Mountaintops of Giants

If you continue to progress through Elden Ring’s main story, you will eventually reach Crumbling Farum Azula as it is a major area to finish the game.

The main route to the Crumbling Farum Azula is through the Giant Mountaintops.

But before you get there, you must first complete Leyndell, Royal Capital.

After reaching the Mountaintops of the Giants, you must defeat the Fire Giant to gain access to the Forge of the Giants Site of Grace.

Melina will spawn after you rest in the Site of Grace, and she will ask you to burn the Erdtree.

Depending on what ending you are pursuing, this option may vary for each player.

Once you pick your option, a cutscene will start playing.
